I have worked with Jason on at least ten films and there’s a very good reason I keep coming back to him – he is a consistently brilliant, innovative and inspired composer and musician whose work elevates and enriches every one of my films. A professional score is one of the most powerful elements in a filmmaker’s toolbox and Jason is without a doubt my most important and valued collaborator.

He can lend his considerable talent to just about any genre I throw at him and I never cease to be astounded at his inventiveness. I find it difficult sometimes to verbalise what I want from a soundtrack but somehow Jason always manages to interpret exactly what I’m clumsily asking of him and he nails it every single time! He is tireless in his commitment to giving me what I need and in the years that we’ve been working together I have never once heard him say ‘it can’t be done’

Added to which, he’s about the loveliest guy you could ever hope to meet, a genuine pleasure to work with. And a good friend.

Just don’t like him too much – if he’s not available to work with me I’ll be very unhappy – I saw him first!

Jason is a gentleman, an artist and a creative genius. I have worked with him on numerous projects over the last 20 years or so. I consider him my muse. His music is inspiring and he is able instinctively to complement the emotion of my lyrics, in any style, in his wonderful arrangements. He makes me sound great. And he's the nicest guy I know.

I highly recommend Jason. He is talented and I found him easy to work with. But most importantly he delivered a final score which greatly exceeded my expectations whilst fitting the mood of the film perfectly.

When I first met Jason to speak about the score for my upcoming film, I spoke non-stop for an hour throwing all my ideas and references at him somewhat incoherently. Days later he came back with a main theme that was breathtaking - incorporating everything I requested and more. Jason is a superb composer who I would be happy to collaborate with again.

Jason not only has an ear for what can carry the emotion of a film, but has developed a certain language that surpasses mere prose or images tacked onto a screen. It is his orchestration that has threaded my film intact, and shown his promise as one of the few talented independent composers.
